Professional Background
I spent seven years
with a small Seattle law firm where I learned firsthand how to practice
law in a wide range of areas. Then in 1993, I opened my own
law office where I help both individuals and families with
their lifelong legal needs. In addition to advising clients,
I act as an arbitrator for King County Superior Court and the
National Association of Securities Dealers.
Personal Background
I love my work but enjoy many activities outside the office. I speak to various
community groups and have taught attorney educational seminars about subjects
such as estate planning, real estate and adoption. I also volunteer my time
with the GSBA, Jewish Family Services and VAPWA.

Educational Background
Before earning my degree from University of Puget Sound School of Law, I earned
a master’s degree in social work from the University of Washington. This
gave me an understanding of group process, human interactions and relationships.
My social work background guides me every day in negotiating and drafting relationship
agreements—for businesses, domestic partners, and
for engaged couples. It also helps me communicate clearly with people so that
I can understand what’s
truly important to them.
